Dear Member:

We believe you will be interested to know that again this year the American Federation of Arts has scheduled a tour of private collections. This is an unusual opportunity to see great masterpieces of art in the homes of the collectors. One of the most delightful guesthouses of the day is also included in the visits.

We should like very much to have you join us. The six collections, listed above, will be open during the month of April on three consecutive Saturdays to those who are Contributing, Supporting or Sustaining Members of the Federation. You would be eligible by adding a minimum of $10 or $15 to bring your present Membership, for this year, to one of these classifications.

As you will readily understand, in this era of rising costs, the Federation depends more than ever before on its Members to continue its activities in widening the appreciation of art throughout the country. We also would welcome your suggesting names of friends, not now Members of the Federation, who might be interested in becoming Members and viewing the collections.

Enclosed you will find the dates of the visits and a Membership form. Please sign and return both the schedule and application blank to us no later than April 7th. As the number who can attend the showings is necessarily limited, your early reply will be appreciated.

Sincerely yours,
