Mr. Robert M. Levy
Jacques Seligmann & Co.
3 East 51st Street
New York, N.Y.

Dear Mr. Levy:

Your letter of November 11th is received.

We are enclosing another catalogue with the prices marked thereon.

We regret that we are unable to be definite about anonymous loans. We are now awaiting cabled permission from a European lender and we are writing other lenders here for permission; but see no reason why the majority of the lenders will not say yes. Mr. Braque himself has approved regarding his own pictures and Mr. Chrysler is agreeable.

The exact dates for the Washington exhibition are December to January 7, 1940. We have nothing further to state about the itinerary, and we have no information as to where they go from you as yet, but in any event it would not affect you. The insurance we will carry will cover while in transit and at your galleries.

As to the catalogue, it is still on press, and the estimates given by our printer are as follows:

200 copies - $42.50
300 copies - 46.50
500 copies - 57.50

Very sincerely yours,
