Mr. Germain Seligmann
Jacques Seligmann & Co., Inc.
5 East 57th Street
New York City

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

I received your letter about John Storrs. He is in Europe and was in a concentration camp during the war. At the moment, I believe, he is living in his country place on the Loire.

I do not think that he ever had any kind of collection. He may have had a few paintings; but I am sure he took them back to Europe with him.

Mrs. Callery's exhibition is a great success. It is unfortunate that she had such a bad cold when she reached New York. I enjoyed having her here.

Best regards; and I shall call you when I come to New York next.

Sincerely yours,
