This Deed, made this 29th day of seventh month, in the year eighteen Hundred and sixty eight, by Daniel P. Haviland and Tillius his Wife, and Philip H. Haviland and Abigail his Wife, Witnesseth, that in consideration of the sum of one dollar, in hand paid, the said Daniel P. Haviland, Tillius Haviland, Philip H. Haviland and Abigail Haviland, do grant unto Philip Haviland and Joseph H Havilance (White) Baptiste Wesley John Wade and George Richard [[?Semley]] in trust, For the purpose of erecting or allowing to be erected thereon, a School House, for the use, benefit [[strikethrough]] for the [[/strikethrough]] and education of the colored people of Charles County, Maryland, and to be opened for Divine Service on the First day of the week [[strikethrough]] by [[/strikethrough]] at the request of any Christian Minister, All that lot on parcel of ground lying in Maryland, Charles County, which is described as follows:  Beginning for the same at the North West Corner of the lot of land lying on the East side of the road leading
