Under the act of congress approved June 25th 1864. The amount received from fines &c from June 25th 1864 to June 30th 1865 was as follows:

The pro rata amount for which warrants were issued in favor of the Treasurer of the Public Schools and which was disbursed through the Mayor's Office from June 25th to June 30th 1864 was 961.12

The amount to be "set apart" for Colored Schools was 114.26

The amount for which warrants were issued in favor of the Treasurer of the Public Schools for the fiscal year ended June 30th 1865 was 56690.68

The amount disbursed through the Mayor's Office 23202.65
