Annual Report on Affirmative Action Programs Personnel Matters Major Development Initiatives Major Construction Projects Transfer of the General Post Office Building Litigation Report National Postal Museum Activities of the Council of Information and Education Directors National Science Resources Center Activities Smithsonian Institution Press Electronic Media Developments [[underlined]] American Visions [[/underlined]] Magazine Smithsonian Mazazines Exhibition Space in the Commerce Department Building Smithsonian Associates' Research Expedition Program [[underlined]] REGENTS' DINNER [[/underlined]] On the preceding evening, Sunday, January 31, 1988, the traditional Regents' dinner was held in the National Air and Space Museum in honor of Dr. David Challinor. After dinner the Secretary rose to welcome the guests and to speak briefly about the new vision which Director Martin Harwit has brought to the Museum. He then introduced the Chancellor who paid honor to Dr. Challinor and presented to him the Henry Medal, as approved by the Board of Regents at its May 11, 1987 meeting. The Chancellor also read and presented a citation which had been prepared in handsome calligraphy.
