^[[The most important accession entered during the year was undoubtedly the magnificent collection brought home by Dr. E.A. Mearns from the survey of the U.S. and Mexican Boundary, containing 374 numbers, several of which have proved to be new species. (Presented).

From the same region another valuable collection was received from the Dep't of Agriculture, Division of Mammalogy and Ornithology, viz. 72 specimens mostly collected by Dr. A.K. Fisher at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. (Presented).
