^[[owe several valuable collections, chief of which a large one made on the Maumee Basin, by Prof. B.W. Evermann and Mr. P.H. Kirsch, and another, smaller, though highly interesting, from the Galapagos and other islands, made by Mr. Chas. H. Townsend. (Presented).

Wm. Astor Chanler presented a small, but highly interesting number of reptiles from the Jombené Range in East Africa, containing several novelties to the museum.

Dr. W.L. Abbot presented a similar collection from Turkestan.

Prof. John Macoun presented a collection of interesting garter snakes from Canada.
