Part of [[underlined]] Accession [[/underlined]] 12991; [[underlined]] Catalogue [[/underlined]] 33000-33001.

The first of these is an example of

 [[underlined]] Conger caudicula [[/underlined]] Bean, the second one known in the museum. The other is 

[[underlined]] Antennarius pleurophthalmus [[/underlined]] Gill, which has not been previously obtained for many years.

Among these fishes were two which have not before been known to occur in Florida; these are

 [[/underlined]] Brotula barbata [[/underlined]] (Bl. Schn.) Cuv., a species of the Caribbean and West Indies, and a new species of [[underlined]] Phycis -

[[underlined]] Phycis floridanus [[/underlined]] Bean & Dresel, a manuscript species about to be described in Proc. Biol. Soc. Wash., vol. II.
