TRIBUTE In April the theatre world lost two of its most legendary producers, ALEXANDER COHEN and DAVID MERRICK. Cohen, who brought high-caliber plays to The Great White Way for nearly 60 years, was also responsible for producing the first televised Tony Awards in 1967, a program he continued to produce for 20 years. Merrick, who left a law career in 1940, produced some of the most well-known musicals ever to grace the Broadway stage. However, the great showman was also instrumental in bringing several cutting-edge British dramas to New York. Pictured below are several plays and musicals that were produced by these two theatrical giants. Can you identify both the show and its producer?
