ASHI K. SMYTHE (Ensemble), an original cast member, trained in the style of Dunham Technique and other styles. Formerly a principal dancer with Chuck Davis' African-American Dance Ensemble, Ashi has performed with the Senegalesse and Guinea Ballet, Missouri State Ballet, and M.C. Hammer's "Too Legit" World Tour.

LEONORA STAPLETON (Swing, Assistant Dance Captain), from Leeds, England, studied at Alvin Ailey. She has performed with Donald Byrd/The Group, Jubilation!, Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, Complexions, among other dance companies. Leonora is thankful for her many blessings. Broadway debut!
