the role of Mufasa will be performed by Phillip Dorian McAdoo,
PHILLIP DORIAN MCADOO (Mufasa) a native of Haw River, North Carolina, Phillip is making his Broadway debut after spending over a year in Japan, working as a singer at Tokyo Disneyland. For my grandmother: remembering your smile, your laugh, your words, your wisdom. Mom, Dad, Ershlena - I love you.

the role of Scar will be performed by Martin Kildare,
MARTIN KILDARE (Scar) Broadway: Timon of Athens, The Government Inspector, The Herbal Bed. Off-Broadway: Pride's Crossing (Lincoln Center), Labor Day (MTC), Candida (The Pearl). Regional: leading roles nationwide, including Hamlet at the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespearean Festival. TV: "Beverly Hills 90210", "Melrose Place", "Law and Order", "One Life to Live". Martin is a member of the Antaeus Company and a graduate of Stanford University and the American Conservatory Theatre.

the role of Simba will be performed by Christopher Jackson,
CHRISTOPHER JACKSON (Simba) is very proud to be making his Broadway debut with The Lion King. A graduate of AMDA, he has been seen Off-Broadway in Time and the Wind and the workshop productions of Boho's. He is currently involved with several recording projects with his group Deacon Good Day. Chris would like to thank God, his mother, Take One and family and friends.
