Director, Composer, Arranger and Conductor include TVproduction of Lorraine Hansbury's To Be Young, Gifted and Black and Alvin Ailey: Dreams and Visions, stage productions of The Amen Corner and Trumpets of the Lord, and concert and tv appearances with Harry Belafonte.  His score for the film Lord Shango, features the voices of the Howard Roberts Chorale.  This world-famous vocal/ instrumental ensemble recently made debuts at Lincoln and Kennedy Centers. Mr. Roberts will tour Europe with his Chorale this summer.
JOYCE BROWN (Vocal Arranger) on Broadway was musical director for Pajama Gama, Purlie, Golden Boy, Bye, Bye Birdie, The King and I, Hallelujah Baby! and the National Tour of Purlie.  She has also conducted night club acts and choirs and numerous summer stock shows.
AL COHN (Orchestrator) is probably best known for his orchestrations for his orchestrations for television including TV specials for Sig Ceasar, Ernie Kovacs, the past four Tony Award Shows, the award-winning Anne Bancroft special, a Cole Porter special starring Perry Como and Diahann Carroll, the Harold Arlen Special and S'Wonderful, S'Marvelous, S'Gershwin starring Fred Astaire and Jack Lemmon.  He has played saxophone and composed for such jazz greats as Woody Herman, Artie Shaw and Buddy Rich.
ROBERT M. FREEDMAN (Orchestrator) has been Harry Belafonte's musical director and arranger and also the musical director-arrangers and composer for Lena Horne.  He's composed music for hundreds of radio and TV commercials. His Concerto for B-flat Trumpet and Orchestra has been performed by the Berlin Radio Symphony.  His jazz suite for Chamber Orchestra entitled Journeys of Odysseus has been recorded.
DOROTHEA FREITAG (Incidental Arrangements) has composed original dance music for Golden Boy and Tovarich, and worked on Mame, Half a Sixpence, Fiddler on the Roof., Zorba, West Side Story, Irma La Douce and What Makes Sammy Run? She received the ASCAP award for scoring Donald McKayle's jazz ballet Storyville, and the Peabody Conservatory Award for Distinguished Service.
NATE BARNETT (Production Stage Manager) received his basic training at Karamu Playhouse in Cleveland, Ohio and holds a degree in theater from Kent State University.  Mr. Barnett is an actor turned Stage Manager who has been seen on Broadway as Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly!, in Ain't Supposed to Die A Natural Death and most recently as an Oriental priest in Ride the Winds.  His New York stage managing credits include I Do, I Do!, Does A Tiger Wear a Necktie?, Ain't Supposed to Die A Natural Death.
