Wildhorn and his collaborators, Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy, have packed this recording with a star-studded cast, including Betty Buckley, Linda Eder, Danny Glover, James Garner, Patti LaBelle and Hootie & the Blowfish. The Scarlet Pimpernel: Encore with music by Wildhorn and lyrics by Nan Knighton is an amalgam of recordings from the previously released concept album and additional recordings from the original and second B'way casts. Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde (now in its third year on Broadway), with lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, is available on a single CD with the original Broadway cast (Linda Eder, Robert Cuccioli and Christiane Noll) and in a two-CD set - The Complete Work - with some of the cast that appeared in the musical's premiere production at the Alley Theatre in Houston.
