To Walpole ^[[call on Walker]] and back at 1.30 found tel fr - A.P.A asking me to go to Recitation and reception to Sarah. B. on Tues. Accepted and gave up.  Okak.  Dinner here and Cabots musicale Gorgorza . and up. up., J.T. Coolidge & others.  glorious Gardner invite. for Sunday.  Geo. Dorr for short visit

To Walpole.  Charley & hurried off.  Bad.  Note fr. J.T.C. (Oh!) and at 3 A.P.A. at desk.  Carriage to Tuileries - Fun with him & Schofield.  S.B a work recitation. Okak. Back. with Susan.  Then H.C.G. Dinner here.

To Walpole.  Still Charley.  Bad.  Stayed lunch.  Train & Mr. B. Back in 3.21. & to S. Station.  Found Bullard had been here.  To Greenes to dinner and back to see [[underlined]] Bridget [[/underlined]].  Low about Minnie.  (Refused Hale invite - and theatre in eve) Very down & bad bad night - Tel to Geo Dorr that I could not go to Russian with him and Lambs.  He sent book.

Fearful quaking to Walpole.  C. all day.  Ammon in. good Mrs B. Did a best and felt relieved Back at 5.21. Charlie lovely on horse and all the time.  [[underlined]] Last day [[/underlined]]. Very alone but went to Coolidges - J.T.C. [[underlined]] cooled [[/underlined]].  Mrs De land to the fore.  Walked back. and very [[underlined]] tame. [[/underlined]].
