he might as well come in. Mr Breede met Mama a moment later, so they went together, and Mo & I went together. When we said Goodbye he asked if I was ever in and I said late and hoped he would come. He said he would in a day or two.

This morning I got a box of flowers from Mr Andrews.

I had a most delightful time last night. Mr L Ronalds & Bronson Winthrop came to dinner and we

went afterwards to the opera. At least 24 men came in the box (of all ages) so you can imagine it was fun. There were almost too many for talking I mean for nice talking, but it [[underline]]was[[/underline]] nice.  Mr Andrews came in and I had a chance to thank him for the flowers, and Mo came and asked if I would be in this afternoon at five and if I would go to supper with him at the Sloane's on the 4th, but I did not have a word alone with anyone besides that.
