[[underlined]] March 8th 1895. [[/underlined]] Established in Paris for one day! But before I tell you about this side of the ocean I must finish the other side up. My past day in New York! It was a beautiful cold crisp kind of day, yet spring like. The sky was bluer than it had been for a long time and the air more balmy. For a change I was on time for breakfast. Right after I had a music lesson and my poor afflicted teacher was even nicer than usual it seemed to me. At ten thirty promptly I put on my things. I determined not to take my maid and wanted to be with Esther all the morning and of course there was a good deal
