^[[Dear Mr Eck:
I recently had the pleasure of reading your travalogue "After You - Col. Lindberg" to our Friendly Club here at Portage.

I enjoyed it so immensly that I just had to write and express my delight at the very wonderful account of the trip as you have written it. I think your description of that one sunset is really a masterpiece, and as I told Marie, - a man who can describe nature the way you can - must be a grand individual.

With this little greeting card, which I have drawn - goes my sincere wishes to both you and Mrs. Eck for a Very Happy future!

Sincerely,
Miss Elizabeth Leeg
