P.S. Mounted somewhere on each of our planes was an object that looked like a miniature propeller. Actually it was a windmill, turned by the wind of our flight (90 miles per hour in the Sops, 120 in the Salinsons). It generated he power for our radio sending set. Its location on the plane was varied as we kept trying to find for it a place where our fingers would not get in its way.
