President of IBDF. Note:
IBDF no longer ^[[may be]] under Minister of Agriculture but may be moved to [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] Environment (SEMA)

Dionizio wants to send the 16 Belgium animals & 4 of Coimbra's. Coimbra now has many. Four animals [[strikethrough]] are [[/strikethrough]] ^[[may]] not in pairs.

Dionizio indicated that Corten was retiring & his son taking over. Apparently the Belgian animals were kept in one (!) cage which was so dark & cold that they had one hour of light per day. Dionizio thinks we need to find them another home & even recommends that England buy them. Dionizio mentioned that Brazilian gov't thru WWF Belgium paid $5,000 for animals.

Thoughts: Pesagro animals look excellent & it's amazing that they are ^[[all]] still alive & look good.

Perhaps [[circled]] 1 [[/circled]] August is a better release time than May

Certainly [[circled]] 2 [[/circled]] releasing in family groups is preferable to pairs.
[[circled]] 3 [[/circled]] Surprised that no wild tamarins have encountered our groups
