Gleed became "Mr. and Mrs." Lucille is the charming mother of three beautiful daughters, Carol, Elaine, and Bette Lou. While her husband was overseas, she worked as a stenographer, bookkeeper, and receptionist. Lucille had the experience of representing LAFB on the radio program, "Party Line" over station WCOL when she was interviewed as an Army wife. Rummy and bridge are her favorite games.

Glenna Latmore Norwood Govan

Should you pass the Glovan apartment and hear a typewriter clicking away, it just might be Glenna "brushing up" on her favorite vocation. Glenna attended business college in Philadelphia, Pa., and for more than two years worked as Clerk-Typist in the Treasury Department, Washington, D.C. She also held similar jobs in Philadelphia and New York. Most unusual was her experience as secretary to an undertaker in Camden, N.J. Glenna, who was born Sept. 2, celebrated her second weeding anniversary on Jan. 11 to Capt. Claude B. Govan. Besides typewriting Glenna has other interests - baseball, basketball, reading, sewing, and all fancy needlework.

Ophelia Leora Madison Groves

At one time Ophelia was a milliner. At the present time her original creations are a source of envy among her friends ... but she won't go commercial ... the reason being that she devotes most of her time to Lt. Weldon Kenneth, Weldon Jr., and the twins. However, Ophelia does take time out to play bridge, pokeno, sew, and attend Delta meetings.
