3.  The Army operator will call you when the connection with the commercial toll operator has been made. The latter operator will require certain additional information such as the following:

5.  Follow the directions of the toll operator and you will usually get your party while you wait, especially if you have given her a phone number and extension. If trunks are busy who will so inform you and call you when the call can be completed.

    1.  Dial number "9".
    2.  Wait until you hear the dial tone.
    3.  Dial the number "9" again, this time there will be no dial tone.
    4.  Dial the Columbus number desired.
    5.  Class "C" Telephones are restricted to intra post calls only, Lockbourne Air Force Base. Base Operator can be reached by dialing "0" in an emergency.

[[bold]] CALLS FROM COLUMBUS, OHIO TO LOCKBOURNE AIR FORCE BASE [[/bold]]
    1. Dial FR 7-5711
    2. Ask for the operator for the extension you desire.

[[bold]] TO REPORT AN AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT [[/bold]]
    1.  Dial number "243" and give the following information:
        a. The exact locaiton of the accident.
        b. Names of the occupants.
        c. Type of aircraft.
        d. Name of individual making report.
        e. Any other available information.

[[bold]]] TO REPORT A FIRE [[/bold]]
    1.  Dial number "333" and give coomplete information.

[[bold]] TO REPORT A TELEPHONE OUT OF ORDER [[/bold]]
    1. Dial "0" and give the necessary information to the operator.

[[bold]] PERSONAL CALLS [[/bold]]
    1. Personal calls are not permitted on other than Class "B" telephones and Pay Stations which are listed in the back of the telephone directory.
    2. All Class "B" Telephones are charged their proportionate share of the expense involved in rendering personal City Service (consisting of rental of City Lines, Circuits, and other direct costs of Operation).
        b. A subscriber having Class "B" Service is responsible for all calls placed over his telephone.
