International cricketing and football coaching over, Mac donned the light blues of his alma mater, coached St. George's College team to victory in both Manning Cup and Olivier Shield, as player and captain led the Old Boys (by mid-December within easy grasp of the senior league cup.  (On the 20th they were out front).

Tuftie also, he owns one of the English fillies (Miss Leigh) imported this year by Knutsford Park Ltd. and Jamaica Turf Club.  (She will be seen in action in this year's Xmas racing carnival at Knutsford Park).

DIED:  Herbert George ("Bertie") DeLeon, long-ailing all-round sportsman, Life Member Jamaica Boxing Association, Saturday, Dec. 18;  accountant;  after an operation (in the U.S.A.) for cancer.  Hundreds saw him buried at sunset Sunday 19th in the Jewish Cemetery, Orange Street, Kingston.
