     The following comments about you were taken from Student Appraisal Forms for Studies 2, 3, and 4:

     Impressed me as an officer of great self-discipline. Certainly an interested party to the discussion who expressed himself easily and maturely. No undesirable traits noted.

     He is a seasoned, intelligent, thorough, conscientious, and reliable officer. He takes his responsibility seriously; is eager to improve his abilities. He is qualified as a commander or staff officer. He impresses his associates favorably.

     A reserved but friendly officer who meets one more than half-way in his contacts. Studious, he is a clear thinker and expresses himself well. Strives constantly for professional improvement and has an extremely high sense of professional fitness. Interested in the United Nations Organization Operations.

     A pleasant individual with whom to work. Expresses his opinions clearly when he has something to say and listens attentively to others. Well liked and capable.

     Student was a clear thinker. His contributions were pertinent. His adjustment to the group was good. He demonstrated experience in leadership.

     A sound, intelligent and enthusiastic participant. Well read and extremely interested in all problems. He has a good analytical mind, a nice sense of humor and is extremely cooperative.

     Col. Davis is a quiet, intelligent officer of considerable capability. He is analytical and studious.

     Possesses an unusually keen mind, extremely well-read, thinks deeply and clearly. Always ready to carry more than his share of the load. Most considerate of others. He expresses himself unusually well either orally or in writing. While his background seems to be one of command, in my opinion he would make an outstanding staff officer in any capacity. Unusually capable in every respect.

     Officer made an outstanding contribution to the group effort. He had a very fine grasp of the subject matter and displayed qualities of intellectual honesty. (Study 3) Very pleasant and cheerful personality. If anything, this officer could pursue his convictions with more vigor because he rarely speaks without relevancy.

     Col. Davis is intelligent, well-read, and expresses himself with clearness and forcefully. He is eager to work with others, and enhances to a good degree any discussion.

     Col. Davis demonstrated he has wide operating experience. He is poised, confident and enthusiastic.
