Dear Mr. Bache:

Now that our exhibition of "The Stage" has just closed, I wanted to take this opportunity of thanking you once more of your great generosity in allowing us to exhibit your "French Comedians" by Watteau without which I am sure the exhibition would not have attained the success that it did.

I know too that Mrs. Lewisohn and the Public Education Association are extremely grateful to you, and the result is that a very worthy charity has been greatly helped by your cooperation.

With renewed and hearty thanks,

Believe me to be

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
