Jules S. Bache, Esq.,
148 Barton Ave.,
Palm Beach, Fla.

Dear Mr. Bache,

I just received your very kind letter.

I am sorry to bother you again, but you misunderstood me. The exhibition is taking place right here in New York at our galleries. I don't know exactly what I could borrow from you, but I would like very much to have you represented in the exhibition which ought to be very wonderful. I should like to have two or three pieces of early works of art to put in a show-case, and if possible a painting. I should have to refresh my memory by going to your house again. You can be assured that whatever you will be kind enough to lend me will be very carefully taken care of.

Mr. Trevor will be down in Palm Beach on Thursday and will be staying at Whitehall, and you will, no doubt, see him, and he will give you further details.

In the meantime, kindly let me hear from you, and believe me

Yours sincerely,
