Dear Mr. Bache:

Last night when I had the pleasure of seeing you I did not want to bother you by talking of business, but the beautiful and exceptional fire screen which you saw in Paris, bearing the Coat-of-Arms of Marie Antoinette and Louis, Dauphin, has arrived here and I am keeping it to try it in your drawing room. I looked at the piace again yesterday and really think that it will be a remarkable fit. Let me know when you find it convenient to try it.

I want to thank you again for the great kindness you showed to me yesterday and to tell you how much this visit was appreciated by both Dr. Zimmerman and his wife.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Believe me to be,
Yours most sincerely,

Jules S. Bache, Esq.,
