Dear Mr. Bache,

I hope you will not mind my troubling you while you are away on your vacation, but we have just received a painting which I think would more than interest you.

It is the famous "Dolores" from the Lord Glenconner Collection, and although many other paintings from this famous collection have been disposed of, this portrait which has been considered one of the gems has always been carefully cherished by the family. I am herewith sending you a photograph of it and wyou will probably recognize it from the well known engraving by BARTOLOZZI. The canvas measures 25 x 30, and it is undoubtedly one of the finest examples by REYNOLDS that has ever come to this country.

It just occurred to me that you might be interested in it, and therefore, I am taking the liberty of sending this letter to you at Palm Beach.

Trusting that this letter finds you en bonne santé and with my kindest regards to Mrs. Richards and yourself, believe me to be

Yours sincerely,

Jules S. Bache, Esq.,
