Dear Mr. Berwind:

I would like very much to show you two pictures which I think you would enjoy seeing - one is a most beautiful portrait of a very charming young girl by Vigée Le Brun, the other one is a very interesting portrait by Fragonard, representing the Comte de la Bretèche, brother of the Abbé de Saint Non.

I hope you will have a few moments in the near future to come in and see these pictures. It would give me great pleasure to have this opportunity of seeing you again.
