Dear Mr. Block:

It was very good of you to have left instructions at your home to show me your collection when I was last in Chicago. However, if I did not take advantage of your kind permission, it is because I felt that I would have missed the pleasure of hearing your comments about your own paintings; and I do hope that at some later date I may be able to admire them in your company.

You had asked me for a photograph of the small painting by Braque which you acquired from my firm sometime ago. I should have mailed it to you earlier, but you will find it herein.

With personal regards,
Sincerely yours,
Germain Seligman
