Two Gouaches representing harbor scenes,

French work of the 18th century by Noel; one is signed and dated, and the other one is dated.

Height: 22-1/4" - Width: 32-3/4".

A very fine and very important painting of the French School of the 18th century by Jean Baptiste Huet.

"Les Oeufs Cassés". A shepherd surrounded by his flock leaves a little peasant girl who looks at the basket of eggs which in her confusion she has dropped. Animals complete the scene, which takes place in a landscape of cliffs and trees.

A very fine and important portrait by François Hubert DROUAIS,

French work of the 18th century representing the Marquise d'Herbouville.

This picture, according to family tradition, made Drouais famous, and was one of the first paintings he exhibited at the Salon. 
Height 45" - Width: 34-1/2".

A very charming painting representing a scene in a park,

A lady dressed in blue and pink in the center; a man dressed in red kneels to her right and gives her a basket of flowers; another personage stands in back of her and crowns her with roses.

This subject which was also painted by Pater, was painted several times. This picture is of the school of Pater, and is attributed to Bar.
