January 19th., 1932.

My dear Mr. Blumenthal:

As I am going out of town tomorrow but still want this little note to leave this evening, I am having it typewritten, so that without delay you may receive my very sincere thanks for your very kind thought. Indeed, what a splendid memory you have and how charming of you to have kept me in mind!

I also wish to take advantage of these lines to congratulate you and to tell you how delighted I was to hear yesterday afternoon that you had been elected President of the Executive Committee of the Metropolitan Museum. Wasn't it the least you could do to accept this honor, after having refused all the other Presidencies?

With my very kindest regards,

Yours most faithfully,

(Germaine Seligman)
