Dear Sir-

Receiving your folder announcing a department of Contemporary American Art I am tempted to wonder why you sent it to me, since I am so far away from New York City.

My reaction to your announcement is to wonder if you are interested in the work of younger Americans on the West Coast as well as the East?

I work principally in water colors, lithographs, and drawings. My work has been exhibited in many cities. I have had one-man exhibitions in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. In Los Angeles I exhibit at Stendahl's. I am 29, and my name has appeared in the last two [[underlined]] American Art Annuals [[/underlined]] as designer, craftsman and painter.

If you are interested I could send a number of my things for you to see, to be followed by others if you wanted them.

Sincerely
