November 1st, 1937

Dear Mr. Brewster:

I am in receipt of your favor of October 28th from which I learn, to my regret, that I shall not have your Picasso, "Classical Head" for our exhibition.

However, I fully understand the difficulties in packing and shipping it, and also your explanation that it could not be here in time for the opening of the exhibition.

I am terribly sorry to have put you to all this trouble but, nevertheless, I hope you and Mrs. Brewster will give me the pleasure of your visit when you are in town next, so that I may at least show you the exhibition which will last until the 20th of November.

Kindly convey my respects to Mrs. Brewster. Thanking you very much for your courtesy in this matter,

Believe me to be

Most faithfully,

(R. H. Waegen)
