February 9th, 1933.

Dear Mr. Brown,

In case you might be visiting New York in the near future, I wish to bring to your attention that we have here in the gallery at the present time a wonderful drawing by FRAGONARD which is the portrait of Benjamin Franklin made in Paris in 1778, and which was included in the French Exhibition in London last year.

Knowing of your interest in works of unusually fine quality I am happy to bring this item to your attention and trust that you will have an opportunity to come in to see it in the very near future.

Very truly yours,

(James St.L. O'Toole)
