Dear Mr. Blum:

In accordance with our today's conversation by telephone you will take delivery tomorrow morning April 25 at our galleries of one painting which kindly pack in your most careful manner, [[underlined]] taking special care of the frame which is particularly fragile,[[/underlined]] for [[underlined]] immediate [[/underlined]] shipment by [[underlined]] AIR PREPAID [[/underlined]], value for carriage $500,- (Five Hundred Dollars), addressed to:

NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART
Attention: MR. JOHN WALKER, Director
Constitution Ave. at 6th Street N.W.
WASHINGTON 25, D.C.

In view of the fact that this is an extremely valuable painting please exercise the greatest care when attending to this work.

[[underlined]] Shipment as agreed must take place at the latest Friday morning, [[/underlined]] so that the painting will be delivered by Saturday.

All expenses in connection with the above are to be charged to our account.
