To come back to the repairing of this bas-relief, we know of a very good repairer here in New York, and I give you this information as you might perhaps like to get in touch with him.
Just before leaving Paris, I had the privilege to see Mrs. Blumenthal who, as you probably know, had been operated on a few days before, and whom I asked about the lighting of your room; she told me that she had given full instructions to Mr. Feuerman, of Alavoine, about it.
Enclosed please find the answer of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, as regards the hanging of tapestries, which letter will give you I hope the information you need.
