Dear Steve:

Whether you are in the market or not, I would very much like you to pass by here at the galleries one afternoon next week, except Monday when we are closed.

We just received three most exceptional and delightful Seurat drawings, the only ones known by this artist, executed in colored crayon, and a very beautiful portrait of a young Tahitian man by Gauguin, which you simply must see. So won't you give me a buzz and tell me when you will have a few minutes to spare?

I also phoned you a couple of times to find out what day you would like to come to my flat for cocktails, as I should like to ask a few other neighborly friends. Do let me hear form you.

In the meantime, kindest regards,

As always,

(R.H. Waegen)
