Dear Mr Seligman,

What a pity about your letter! But there is nothing further we can do for the time being.

I have been meaning to write to you to draw your attention to a reference (in the September issue) to your Renieri in my my review of Michael Levey's book on [[underlined]] Later Italian Pictures in the Royal Collection [[/underlined]] (notes at the end, under No.590). You may of course have noticed this, but it is not the kind of place you would expect to find a reference to your picture.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Germain Seligman.
