Dear Colonel Davis:

The French Air Attache is arranging a ceremony at the French Embassy here in Washington the last week in March or first part of April, for the purpose of presenting Croix de Guerres to certain former staff members of the Fifteenth Air Force who participated in the Southern France Invasion or aided in the liberation of their country.

As a recipient of this award, you will receive an invitation to the ceremony direct from the French Air Attache. When a definite date has been selected, we shall again contact you concerning the exact time.

Sincerely,
