Light Explains Power Trouble The Light & Power Company in a statement issued to explain an interruption in electricity supply which affected several Rio districts last Monday said it was due to a technical mishap involving one of the big generators at the Fontes plant, and added that the interruption "had a more serious character, because the generating system already is overburdened. The company said that the program drafted by the firm and approved by the authorities to increase the capacity of the installations is being carried out as quickly as possible.
