Not without paying the price!  After a year of hard work on a marble winged figure for a memorial Chapel to be unveiled tomorrow, I get a telegram today announcing that it had arrived [[underlined]] broken in two [[/underlined]].  Six months of work to replace it even if it is insured!  A six-foot angel, broken at the knees, to be carved over again--So we learn of each other's problems.  For behind the devastating energy, the all but relentless driving power that are making this club a success, there is a gentle something one might almost overlook:  it is that quiet,humorous , tender, exalted and indomitable friendship of women for women.
