Tuesday dined at the C. Carrolls, Phil had just arrived with 16 [[strikethrough]] men [[/strikethrough]] others to drive ambulances for my unit.

Wednesday we had a meeting to decide plans for Juilly alterations.  Bob, Greenough & Martin dined with me, & Du Bouchet, Gros & C. Carrole who had engagements came in after dinner.  Greenough says one month to get in - this was the 26th.

Thursday, Thanksgiving Day - Lunched at the Embassy.  Herrick was particularly nice to me & said agreeable things.
