live in Japanese quarters than we ever got in Washington Heights. However, I imagine that it does have its drawbacks and know you will really enjoy government quarters. Things must be very different in Tokyo now from what they were in "our day." I know Aggie ^[[insertion]] you [[/insertion]] must be having a wonderful time with your interests in art and ceramics and I'm sure you've already learned more of the language than I ever did.

Bill is now Wing Operations Officer of the 450th Fighter-Bomber Wing at Foster. He has been here just over a month and I arrived about two weeks ago with the boys. We have a very nice house (which they have not quite finished building) and it is a pleasant change to be back at a base again. But as a city, Victoria is quite a far cry from Washington. I'm sure we will like it, but it does take a little getting used to.
