Dearest Dad,

Thank you ever so much for your dear birthday letter & thank Tante Heidlauff for hers - I will write her in a day or so.

We are very busy between the political work & the usual stories of 2 strikes on hand. However Raymond & I had a very happy day together - he is now in Springfield for Labor Day.

Much, much love,

G ——.
