By the request of Judge Brooks I give you a division of Territory in the County of Currituck. It has been divided by Capt. Hilderbrandt, Agt. Freedman &c at Roanoke Island in 3 Districts but Judge B. thought 2 was sufficient so I give it as follows.

Division No 1. To enclude Roanoke Island, Collington Island, the potion of Territory running from New Inlett to A. [[Baunss?]] known as the sea Beach. That portion of territory bounded on the north [[strikethrough]] By [[/strikethrough]] and East by Currituck Sound, on the South by Currituck & Albermarl Sounds - on the West by Albermarl Sound North River and the Albermarl & Chessepeake Canal. Said Division will enclude the [[original?]] voting precincts of Roanoke Island, North Banks, Powels Point.
