The Asst. Commissioner directs that you forward to these Head Quarters, with the least possible delay, all information you possess, relative to the charges preferred against [[underlined]] Horace James [[/underlined]], late Captain and Asst. Qr. M U.S. Vols. embracing the whereabouts of said [[underlined]] James [[/underlined]], in whose possession the mill now is, when, to whom, and under what circumstances the mill was finally turned over by [[underlined]] James. [[/underlined]]
