Danger!

The air has changed, the gathering spray by sullen gusts is driven,
Th' impatient ocean, roused from sleep, reflects the power of heaven.

The tide now set through landward, the wind was still light but steadily increasing.  My impression of the chang which followed, is that tacking in a fresh breeze on a fair sea, bathed in afternoon sunlight that dazzled our eyes when we looked westward, talking of the Argonauts voyage and vinal accident (interspersing many adventures of our own) & of the game to be found on the coast and various islands; &c. – when we were concious of a sudden and alarm-
