Mrs V. awfully taken with Alice.

Didn't care much for the looks of the little violinist Van Roulty. He came up & shook hands warmly with Alice on leaving, although he had not met her at all.
Landeman the cellist, a jolly little fellow, Dutch.

Young artists are the most aimiable people in the world.

Walked home with Alice. She says she will be celebrated in 1899 -- bon!
