1 ^[[Glorious ride to New York. through the Lehigh Valley. Eastern where Oliver went to College Lafayette College. Tremendous valley. Lehigh & Delaware meet at Eastern. Great bluffs & beyond vast cultivated tracts. 1 oclock dined in New Jersey Station. Took ferry to Brooklyn Navy Yard & went all over the Indiana. Dined at Gilsey House. Oliver so sleepy he couldn't keep his eyes open. A distracted waiter.]]
